Dark Heaven boss Vorp delivers his debut EP ‘I Plead The Filth’, comprising four original compositions of dynamic breaks, techno and electro leaning material.

‘Up The Wazoo’ opens and sets the tone, scattering the voice of Dark Heaven co-founder Asha, while the track utilizes crisp electro drums, ever shifting, oscillating synth melodies and murky bass drones. Title-track ‘I Plead The Filth’ then offers up gritty saturated drums, loopy hypnotic stabs and gnarly bass throughout.

‘Spiritronica’ sees Vorp venture into more hazy electronica realms via dreamy textural pads, twitchy acid licks and a bumpy 4/4 rhythm. ‘Wetallica’ then rounds out the EP on a straight acid techno tip, merging fluttering 303 lines with resonant sirens, ethereal chords and
thunderous drums.
